JMAS is constantly looking for volunteers to help out with our various events throughout the year. If you want to get involved in school but you’re not quite sure how to go about it, or you just want to get a taste of JMAS events, this is a great opportunity for you. Whether you want to volunteer at only one or at most of our events, you are welcome to sign up with the form below.

As a volunteer, your responsibility is to help out wherever you can. Whether it be assembling and distributing name tags, greeting guests at the entrance, helping with setup and cleanup, or taking care of the food and drinks. We’re looking for people who can support the team and do all the little things right. As a volunteer you are part of our team, and we value your time and effort.

We look forward to working with you and making new friends along the way!

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email afridi.khan@jmas.ca or nicolas.molina@jmas.ca

I am a 3rd year accounting student aspiring to become a CPA. I am currently an ambassador at JMWL and a project manager at CodElle. I am passionate about helping others, hence I hold volunteering close to my heart. Not only will you be making a positive difference in your community, but you will also be developing your own skills and growing your social network. Volunteering at the CPA for a Day Case Competition allowed me to get frontline experience as it exposed me to how case competitions work from a competitor's perspective and from an organizational perspective since I viewed all the behind the scenes work involved in bringing this event to life by the executive team. All in all, there is absolutely no disadvantage to volunteering which is why I strongly encourage anyone to get involved.

I am a third year student planning to pursue the CPA designation, I am an introvert but participating to networking events makes me have an impression of being a double agent.

To have a chance to volunteer for an event like CPA for a Day was a great opportunity to get a taste of being a participant, and it makes me regret not having the courage to be part of a case competition in my first or second year. Being a volunteer is not only about helping the organizers but also supporting the participants by taking some weight off their shoulders.
